We understand that each setting is different and there is no one approach that suits all schools/nurseries. We base our service on discussion with key personnel to look at the needs of an individual setting and then tailor a service to you. All our services are carried out by qualified Speech and Language Therapists.
In our experience, your settings needs will change over time and therefore the service we provide will reflect this.
We can provide:
- Detailed assessment to individual children within your setting
- Screening assessment in key areas to groups of children within your setting
- Individual therapy
- Small group therapy
- Carry over activities for all children receiving individual or group therapy
- Target setting and monitoring of progress for individual children who no longer need regular intervention with the therapist
- Resources to carry out targets set
- Contact with parents via attendance at their child’s session or other means as appropriate
- Advice to and liaison with teaching staff and other professionals such as Educational Psychologists and NHS Speech and Language Therapy colleagues.
- Licensed providers of ICAN’s Talkboost KS1 and Early Talk boost
- Impact monitoring via written summary of assessment results
- Detailed report writing for individual children when required
- Staff training
- Regular service planning meetings with SENCO/Management team
How often do we visit?
The frequency of your sessions are up to you, you can buy sessions on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly, half term or termly basis depending on your requirements. This may change over time and can be altered accordingly within the service level agreement.
