Phonological Awareness Intervention - Helen Stringer, University of Newcastle

We are delighted to say that after all the feedback we have received from you during training over the last year, that Helen Stringer, has agreed to make some amendments to the PA screening assessment and she has developed a group assessment record sheet. We will try and send this to everyone we have trained, however if we miss you or you have moved location, please contact us and we will send you the digital copies.

Please continue to send us your completed screening assessment summaries anonymised with date, location and age in competed years and months. The Early Years Team at Orchard Park will be also be happy to gather these for us, so you can send them to Cheryl Bowers or Carolyn Andrew. We are also looking at reorganising the classroom screening form so that this data can be emailed directly to us.

Helen Stringer was really pleased to receive over 650 completed forms from us in the last academic year, to support her developing research; which is a HUGE boost to her data. Thanks to all. This is a condition to use of the PA intervention, as it is not yet published and we are grateful for the opportunity to be involved, in such exciting research.
